ATRYA, an outstanding success story. The story of a human adventure, the story of a fantastic team around Johannes Tryba.
Johannes TRYBA was originally qualified as a joiner, just like both his father and his grandfather.
In 1980, he started to launch the production of PVC windows in Gundershoffen, in Alsace with 15 employees in a 1,200 sqm building. Twenty windows per day were manufactured over the first months, which were dedicated to the German Market and then sold in France. TRYBA was born in France.
In 1984, TRYBA designed its first range of profiles distributed under the brand name SOPROFEN. The first Show Rooms were created and the agent network was set up. In 1988, the manufacturing processes were automised and in 1995 TRYBA created an insulating glazing production unit.
At this early stage, TRYBA already had its own Training Centre for both agents and all the employees.
With this continuous success story, TRYBA managed to consolidate its presence on all the market segments. Targetted acquisitions as well as the creation of several manufacturing units in France, Switzerland and Germany have set the foundations of the European dimension of the Group.
In addition to manufacturing and trading PVC windows and doors, TRYBA now makes and distributes its own wooden and aluminium windows and doors. SOPROFEN makes roller shutters whereas NORBA manages the Public Building Joinery Department of the Group.
Ever since 2004, the Group has been committing itself in new energies. This division trades renewable heating systems (solar, granules boilers, condensation boilers, heat pump, ...).
In 2004, the TRYBA Group became ATRYA.
Since then, ATRYA has been continuing its expansion in France, Germany, Switzerland and Belgium. The Veranda activity and the garage doors complete the Group portfolio in 2007. The New Energies Division was perfectly adapted to the market in 2008 and numerous projects are ongoing today.
The TRYBA Company Foundation "A world for children" was created in June 2008. It supports various projects in Vietnam and recently a project in France.
With its 1,630 employees, a turn-over in 2009 of 320 million euros, and a daily production of 3,500 windows, doors and shutters on 16 sites in Europe, ATRYA today ranks amongst the 5 leading companies in the European joinery business.
After the factory in Mayenne in 2008, the site in Gundershoffen obtained the ISO 14001 certification in May 2009. Highly concerned about the future of our planet, ATRYA is fully engaged in a responsible development, based on permanent innovation, totally in line with both humans and environment.
The company is your privileged partner in terms of comfort, well-being, security and energy savings with your homes.
